iLabs is a free set of interactive labs for school students in classes 9 to 12: chemistry, physics and maths, all in your browser, and none of it needs an account.
iLabs is a free set of browser-based learning tools for school students. It has three subjects, Re-agents (chemistry), Forces (physics) and Shunya (maths), each with interactive labs, guided lessons, quizzes and games, and on top of them timed tests, XP, badges and leaderboards. It is always free, works on any device, and needs no sign-up.
Re-agents · Chemistry
A reaction sandbox with 280+ real balanced equations, an interactive periodic table of all 118 elements, a chemical bonding lab, concept lessons, games and a quiz.
Forces · Physics
More than a dozen labs: mechanics, circuits, optics, waves, rotation, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, logic gates and modern physics, with lessons, games and a quiz.
Shunya · Maths
Eleven labs that compute real mathematics as you drag: functions, trigonometry, probability, geometry, conics, calculus, matrices, vectors, mensuration, explainers and Vedic shortcuts.

Why this exists
Most students do not struggle because science and maths are hard. They struggle because these subjects are taught as formulas and lists to memorise long before anyone sees the motion, the circuit, the reaction or the graph those formulas describe.
iLabs turns that around. You drag the pendulum, run the reaction, build the circuit or bend the curve, and watch the result appear as you do it. Then you connect it back to the equation.
It is free, it works in any browser, and it is meant to stay that way. If it helps and you would like to support the hosting, there is a coffee link in the footer. It is entirely optional.

What is iLabs?
iLabs is a free set of interactive labs for school students: Re-agents for chemistry, Forces for physics and Shunya for maths. Every lab runs in your browser, so you can drag, build and experiment instead of only reading formulas.
Is iLabs free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is free. You do not need an account to use any lab, lesson, quiz, game or test. An account is optional and only keeps your progress on every device you use. iLabs doesn’t currently show ads — it’s free to use, supported only by an optional Buy Me a Coffee link. If that changes, this page will say so.
Which classes is it for?
The labs and lessons are built around the NCERT syllabus for classes 9 to 12, and the tests are in the style of JEE and NEET.
Is the science in the labs real?
Yes. The labs calculate the real equations as you interact. The reactions in Re-agents are real balanced reactions, the physics in Forces is simulated from the actual laws, and Shunya computes the mathematics live instead of playing a pre-made animation.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. iLabs runs in any modern phone or computer browser. Labs have a full-screen mode, and a landscape mode on phones. The larger labs are easier on a bigger screen.
What are XP, levels, streaks and badges?
You earn iLabs XP for exploring labs, trying their modes, opening lessons, finishing quizzes and games, and for taking tests. XP raises your level, visiting on consecutive days builds a streak, and there are 49 badges to collect. Everyday activity is limited to 300 XP a day so that it rewards steady learning (test XP does not count towards that limit). See your own progress on your profile and everyone's on the leaderboard.
How do the tests work?
Tests are timed and everyone gets the same paper, so scores are fair. Your timer is kept by our server, answers are saved as you go, and the answers, solutions and leaderboard open after the whole test window has ended. You can take a test without an account. See the tests.
Where is my progress saved?
Your progress belongs to an anonymous profile, which is kept in your browser and on our server so that tests and leaderboards can work. If you create an account, your progress follows you to other devices. The privacy page lists exactly what is stored.
