iLabs

Interactive science labs · class 9–12

Science labs you can actually play with

iLabs turns chemistry and physics into hands-on simulations. Mix real substances, build circuits, bend light, and watch the science happen — then test what you learned. Free, no sign-up, right in your browser.

Re-agents — sodium dropped into water, live
The Re-agents chemistry sandbox mid-reaction: sodium reacting with water, with the balanced equation 2Na + 2H₂O → 2NaOH + H₂ shown on screen

This is a real screenshot — every reaction in the sandbox is simulated live, not pre-recorded.

What is iLabs?

Free interactive labs that make the syllabus click

Most students memorise equations and diagrams they have never seen move. iLabs lets you touch them: change a value, watch what happens, and see why.

Simulations, not videos

Drag, drop and slide. Every lab runs real physics and chemistry rules live, so you can try things a textbook never lets you.

Built around your syllabus

Topics follow NCERT class 9–12 chemistry and physics, with step-by-step lessons that walk you through each experiment.

Learn, then test yourself

Every lab connects to quizzes with explanations and mini-games, so you find out what you really understood.

How it works

From curious to confident in three steps

Pick a lab

Choose a topic — a chemical reaction, a circuit, a lens. Nothing to install and no account to make.

Play with it

Change a value, drag an object, mix two substances. The lab responds instantly and shows the numbers behind it.

Understand and practise

Open a guided lesson to see why it works, then take a quiz or play a game to lock it in.

290+real chemical reactions
118elements to explore
8physics labs
350+quiz questions

Who it's for

Made for how students actually study

Students, class 9–12

Stuck on a topic? See it happen, then read the explanation. Great alongside your NCERT book.

Teachers

Open a lab on the classroom screen and demonstrate live. No installs, and it runs on any laptop or phone.

Exam preparation

Concept lessons and quizzes with explanations help you revise for school exams, JEE and NEET fundamentals.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is iLabs?

iLabs is a set of free, interactive science labs for students. It started as a chemistry reaction sandbox (now called Re-agents) and has grown to include Forces, a set of physics labs, with maths planned next.

Is iLabs free? Do I need an account?

Every lab is free and there is no account or sign-up.

Who is it for?

School students in classes 9 to 12 (especially those following NCERT), teachers who want a live classroom demo, and anyone who learns better by trying things than by reading about them.

What is Re-agents?

Re-agents is iLabs' chemistry lab: a reaction sandbox with 290+ real balanced equations, an interactive periodic table of all 118 elements, lessons, mnemonics, games and a 200-question quiz.

What is Forces?

Forces is iLabs' physics lab for classes 9 to 12: eight interactive labs (mechanics, circuits, optics, waves, rotation, thermodynamics, electromagnetism and logic gates), animated modern-physics explainers, lessons, a quiz, games and a constants reference.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every lab works in a modern mobile browser, though the bigger labs are easier on a tablet or laptop.

Is the science accurate?

The labs use real formulas and reaction data rather than pre-made animations. Where a lab simplifies something (for example, ideal components in the circuit builder), it says so on the page.

Ready to see some science happen?

Start with a reaction or a circuit — it takes about ten seconds to get going.
